Cassadee Pope’s stunning performance of “Stupid Boy” (written by Dave Berg, Sarah Buxton and Deanna Bryant) on NBC’s The Voice, propelled Pope from the semi-final round to the Season 3 crown! Pope’s cover of the Keith Urban original also scorched up the Billboard chart, peaking at #40 on the Billboard Top 100 and #4 on the US Country Songs chart. Feeling very blessed to be a co-writer with Georgia Middleman and Tom Douglas on the song “While He Still Knows Who I Am,” just released on Kenny Chesney’s new album Welcome to the Fishbowl.
They really cut a beautiful record… check it out here:

DAVE BERG/Believed In
Writer: Dave Berg; Producer: Dave Berg & John Hurley; Publisher: Cal IV/Stupid Boy, ASCAP; DB (track) (www.daveberg.com)
-Top Music Row tunesmith Berg has a new, 14-song showcase titled Not Quite So Alone. It doesn’t contain any of the many hits he has written for others. Instead, it is full of solo-written (gasp!) gems like this pop-ish, rhythmic set opener. The production dazzles and his dry, earnest, folkie vocals are quite engaging. Seek this one out-it is a really refreshing audio change of pace.
